Prior experience in this specialised field is essential, though additional training on York equipment will be offered to York equipment.\nWe are looking for candidates with previous experience of leading a team to ensure the highest level of service is always carried out, meeting client KPI’s and timelines.\nYou will be working with a site base administrator, and your ability to maintain high level of communication to our client is paramount to ensuring breakdowns and repairs are conducted with priority and criticality levels. In addition, you will take ownership of managing and issuing plant maintenance and service reports within a timely manner.\nDue to the varied workload, you will be expected to resource additional technicians form the mobile team, this will mean a continuous working relationship with other JCI line managers. Management of the site team out of hours rota, will also be required.\nDue to the nature of the site, EHS control and adherence must be maintained at all times. This includes the issuing of task specific RAMS, management of COSHH data, and regular EHS meetings. Management of site tools and equipment will also be part of this role, this will include PAT Test & Tool calibration recording.\nSC clearance is a requirement for site access, this will be actioned prior to the initial start date.\nWhat we look for:\nTechnical Certifications:\nRefrigeration & Air Conditioning Level 3 (or higher).\n\nRefrigerant Handling Certification (2079).\n\nSafety and Compliance:\nDemonstrate in-depth knowledge of EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety), RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements), and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) protocols.\n\nIOSH qualification preferred.\n\nFirst Aid at Work certification.\n\nOther Requirements:\nValid Driving Licence.\n\nTechnical Expertise:\nRefrigeration & Air Conditioning technician experience with Large Tonnage Chiller\n\nIT Proficiency:\nIT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Apple iPad or other digital platforms.\n\nExperience in Nuclear Manufacturing:\nPrevious experience working on nuclear manufacturing sites is highly desirable, given the safety-critical nature of the environment.\n\nWhy Join Us?\nThis is an opportunity to bring your expertise and leadership skills to a challenging and rewarding role.
