Recognizing the value of Silent-Aire's expertise, Johnson Controls, a leader in smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Silent-Aire, thereby expanding its already impressive product portfolio.\nWe are looking for a Field Service Technician - Data Center to join our team in Middenmeer.\nWhat will you do\nAs Field Service Technician - Data Center you play a crucial role in maintaining optimal physical conditions and smooth operation of Silent-Aire's Handling Units within the data centers in Middenmeer. Your responsibilities encompass a diverse range of tasks, including the regulation of air and water temperature. Additionally, you will be involved in the ongoing inspection, maintenance, and repair of various components within the data center to assess the overall functionality of these systems to meet Service Level Agreements for all Silent Aire units. Working closely with the Silent-Aire site Health & Safety Officer, you also prioritize and uphold environmental and safety standards to ensure consistent compliance.\nHow you will do it\nYou are responsible for all regional service calls and Service Level Agreements (SLA) in place.\nYou engage directly with customers to fulfill service requests and any maintenance opportunities.\nYou engage directly with customer's operations teams to ensure the smooth running of all local assets.\nReport all works undertaken via UpKeep Central maintenance Management system (CMMS).\nWork with all Mechanical / Electrical operatives or Sub contractors as required.\nEnsure all work undertaken is done in compliance with Health & safety standards.\nShare upstream customer information on investments, local influencers/decision makers.\nWorks to develop, directly and through networks a qualified pipeline of opportunities, and then drives to convert into Service business orders.\nWork with management and colleagues to growth the after-sales service business and share best practice.\nYou are prepared to travel to other countries and locations as required by workload.\nWhat we look for\nYou have at least 5 years' mechanical or electrical experience, preferably from commercial, data center, high-tech, healthcare or manufacturing industries.\nUnderstanding of electrical and mechanical systems in data center environments and controls/monitoring systems.\nQuick learning capabilities and adaptability to new processes, procedures, and equipment.\nStrong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and clearly at all levels. \nProficiency in English language with additional knowledge of Dutch being advantageous.\nStrong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.\nHighly organized and proactive individual.\nAbility to work flexible hours, including 24/7 call out emergency cover.\nValid driving license & VCA - B course.\nWhat we offer\nJohnson Controls offers you a very interesting job within a global organization in which you can develop your customer focus to the maximum.
