This hands-on field role combines technical installation work, blueprint reading, customer communication, and daily documentation in a safety-focused team environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist with the installation of fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and other low-voltage electronic systems from start-up through final testing.\nRead and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, schematics, and product manuals to support installation activities.\nHelp with mounting, wiring, terminations, device placement, and basic troubleshooting as directed by the responsible person.\nSupport system checkouts, testing activities, and other project tasks needed to complete the installation accurately.\nKeep the work area clean and organized, and dispose of jobsite debris properly.\nComplete daily paperwork and other required documentation accurately and on time.\nCommunicate progress and work status as needed, and support alternate shifts or weekend work when customer schedules require it.\nHow You Will Do It\nTake ownership of assigned work, follow safety practices, and raise issues early so the team can keep projects moving with integrity.\nStay close to the jobsite work, follow verbal and written direction carefully, and remove avoidable delays by keeping tools, materials, and documentation organized.\nImprove every day by asking questions, sharing clear feedback, and using practical problem-solving to resolve installation challenges quickly.\nWin as one team by working closely with installers, project leads, dispatch, and customers while respecting different perspectives and keeping communication open.\nProtect the quality of the work by completing paperwork accurately, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and following through on assigned tasks.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nConstruction experience.\nAbility to follow verbal and written instructions and read and understand complex construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.\nValid driver's license and reliable transportation.\nSuccessful completion of a drug screen and background check.\nAbility to perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.\nAbility to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, and working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, and similar spaces.\nStrong customer service skills and a professional, positive attitude.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to learn quickly.\nWillingness to work alternate shifts or weekends when needed to meet customer installation requirements.\nNice to Have\nExperience in an electrical trade.\nLow voltage experience.\nExperience with fire alarm, access control, CCTV, or integrated building systems.\nExperience completing product certification courses.\nHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $29.61-$42.07 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
