Communicate with Customer Business Manager and O&M team on operational issues.\nHow you will do it:\nPerforms maintenance duties with a focus on fire alarm, voice evacuation panels, low voltage accessories, fire alarm panels, and Audio-Visual devices.\n Performs routine maintenance and repairs of fire alarm components including fire alarm panels, voice evacuation panels, and associated field devices\nPerforms routine inspections of building’s safety systems including but not limited to: fire alarm systems, voice evacuation, low voltage accessories, fire alarm panels, and Audio-Visual devices, and associated field devices.\nMonitoring of Computerized Management Maintenance System (CMMS) for work orders and timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks and demand tasks\nConducts extensive self-study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in facility’s systems. Completes certifications as required by the company\nProficient use of hand and power tools/instruments including drills, saws, mutli-meter, etc\nAssists with parts research/procurement and maintaining parts inventory\nAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot reported Fire Alarm issues and convey findings to additional technical resources when needed\nInteract with customers/tenants in a positive and cooperative manner\nComply with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards.\nPerforms all work in accordance with established safety procedures.\nPerforms other miscellaneous maintenance duties as requested.\nWhat we look for\nRequired:\nHigh school graduate or equivalent.\nMinimum of one year of experience working with fire alarms, electrical systems, or similar low voltage equipment. Applicants with solid mechanical or electrical skills who are willing to learn will also be considered.\nBasic computer experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and CMMS\nMust possess a valid driver’s license\nMust be a team player committed to working in a quality environment.\nWill be required to respond to occasional emergencies outside of normal business hours.\nMust be physically able to perform maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to: climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc.\nHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $27.40-34.62 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience,\nknowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market\ndata.)
