Backed by advanced technology, lifecycle services and an industry-leading field organization, we elevate customer performance, turn goals into real-world results and help move society forward.\nWhat you will do\nInspectors are responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Electrical, Sprinkler or Suppression life safety product lines as well as similar competitive manufacturers’ product lines.\nHow you will do it\nWork with low-voltage wiring and associated devices for the operation of low-voltage equipment. \nComplete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices such as laptop computers and/or hard copy. \nFollow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule. \nInput, retrieve and archive inspection documents via laptop computer. \nMake minor repairs and programming changes to systems being inspected. \nProvide technical training to less senior inspectors and trainees. \nComplete assigned inspections on time. \nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat we look for\nRequired\nCFAA Certification.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nExperience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, program schematics and operational/product manuals. \nExperience with hand tools and multi-meter usage. \nAbility to follow verbal and written instructions. \nCapable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50 lbs. \nAble to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. \nAbility to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements. \nAbility to adhere to, implement, and follow safety policy guidelines and procedures at all times. \nDemonstrate a high level of customer service. \nAbility to work well with others. \nSelf-starter that can work with little to no supervision. \nStrong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. \nValid Full G Driver's licence.\nPreferred\nSpecial Hazards experience \nService background \nFamiliarity with sprinklers, Fire Pumps, and Suppression Systems \nPay Range: $25.25 -$33.59 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet.
