As part of our Fire business, you will support customers across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and government environments with life safety solutions that demand precision, coordination, and a strong focus on safety.\nRole Overview\nThe Fire Construction Manager is responsible for the daily management of fire alarm installation projects. This role blends field leadership, project coordination, customer interaction, and financial oversight. You will coach and mentor technicians, support scheduling and material planning, monitor project performance, and help ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to the expected standard.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage the daily operations of construction installation projects for fire alarm systems.\nCoach and mentor technicians and apprentices to support quality execution and team development.\nOrder materials and equipment and help ensure job readiness before site work begins.\nMonitor project financials, track labor hours, and provide accurate status updates during WIP meetings.\nMaintain installer schedules and coordinate with Operations to support project delivery.\nAttend construction meetings and communicate effectively with end-users, architects, and general contractors.\nConduct jobsite safety walkthroughs, EHS evaluations, and accident investigations as needed.\nSet performance expectations, review progress with direct reports, and support hiring or evaluation activities when required.\nHow You Will Do It\nLead with accountability and integrity, keeping safety at the center of every decision and every jobsite visit.\nStay close to the work by being present in the field, removing obstacles quickly, and keeping customers informed.\nBuild a strong, collaborative team by setting clear expectations, coaching performance, and encouraging open communication.\nImprove every day through practical problem-solving, candid feedback, and consistent follow-through on project actions.\nWork as one team with Operations, technicians, customers, and contractors to keep projects moving smoothly.\nUse disciplined planning and clear reporting to manage schedules, labor, materials, and financial performance.\nQualifications\n5-10 years of management experience in Fire Alarm Installation within the commercial industry.\nFire Alarm, Access Controls, and CCTV certifications.\nProject Management experience.\nEstimating experience.\nExperience or knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products.\nGood written and oral communication skills.\nProficiency using personal computers, including Windows 7/XP/NT/2000 or similar Windows-based systems.\nNice to Have\nNICET Certification Level 3 or greater.\nKnowledge of P&L.\nWhy Join Us\nCompetitive salary and bonus plan.\nPaid vacation, holidays, and sick time, including 15 days of vacation in the first year.\nComprehensive benefits package including 401(k), medical, dental, and vision care available day one.\nOn-the-job and cross-training opportunities with outstanding resources.\nAn encouraging, collaborative team environment.\nDedication to safety through our Zero Harm policy.\nIf you are a hands-on leader who enjoys driving project success in a fast-paced field environment, we encourage you to apply.\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $94,300-$129,000(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
