Become a member of the Johnson Controls family and thrive in an empowering company culture where your voice and ideas will be heard - your next great opportunity is just a few clicks away!\nWhat we offer\nCompetitive salary\nPaid vacation/holidays/sicktime- 15 days of vacation first year\nComprehensive benefits package including 401K, medical, dental, and vision care - Available day one\nEncouraging and collaborative team environment\nDedication to safety through our Zero Harm policy\nCheck us out!: A Day in a Life at Johnson Controls | Sales Roles\nWhat you will do\nThe primary function of this position is to promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems products to include fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, communication and inspections.\nHow you will do it\nAs a Service Sales Rep you will establish contact with prospect and qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and using outlined marketing strategies.\nDevelop a positive ongoing relationship with customers.\nDetermine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company service offerings.\nClose sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives.\nDevelop and maintain an active proposal backlog that will support achieving the designed sales plan.\nConduct building surveys to support the development of estimates.\nMaintain accurate and complete records of all sales related activities.\nSubmit all required sales reports, expenses, competitive activity and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner.\nDevelop a positive ongoing relationship with customers to ensure that Johnson Controls is meeting their requirements to ensure long-term customer dedication.\nSupport the service department to generate leads for service or equipment/device upgrades.\nWhat we look for\nRequired\nDegree or equivalent work experience (5 years).\n5 years minimum B2B track record of sales experience.\nExperience selling a service or intangible or technical product.\nExperience prospecting, qualifying, solution selling and closing deals.\nAbility to work in a matrix environment with minimal direction where performance will be measure by meeting quota numbers.\nProfessional communication, interpersonal, and time leadership skills is a must have\nProficient in the use of personal computers to include operating systems such as Windows and Oracle systems.\nAbility & willingness to work as a teammate; must work well with others\nPreferred\nBachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline preferred.\n5+ years minimum B2B track record of sales experience.\nIndustry or related industry experience.\nSalesforce Proficiency\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $41,800-$69,800 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis.
