Responsible for setup of local project offices, project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, and facilitation. Manages schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer expectations/satisfaction. Presents to management and/or customers on project updates, project cycle, and expected results. Ensures projects are closed on time and in scope.\nHow you will do it\nCoordinates and communicates project progression from inception to completion including design, permits, material delivery, labor schedules, and field installation. \nDevelops a comprehensive project plan to meet schedules and budgets. Conducts Work in Progress meetings. \nUnderstands and follows all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications. \nEnsures AHJ requirements and departmental/SOX procedures are followed. \nCoordinates change orders and works toward overall margin improvement on every job. \nWhat we look for\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or equivalent. \nCertificate or diploma in a related field (Fire & Life Safety, Electrical/Electronic; Security). Certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferred. \nExpectation that Project Management Professional certification will be obtained within two years of employment in the position. \nNICET Level II must be obtained within one year of employment. \nProficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Project). Ability to create Excel spreadsheets, reference data in other spreadsheets, and create macros is required. \nAvailable for frequent local travel. \nPreferred\n10 years’ installation experience in Fire, Electrical, or Security systems. \nProject management experience.\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $91,600. to $126,000. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
