Backed by advanced technology, lifecycle services and an industry-leading field organization, we elevate customer performance, turn goals into real-world results and help move society forward.\nWhat you will do:\nInspectors are responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Electrical, Sprinkler or Suppression life safety product lines as well as similar competitive manufacturers’ product lines.\nHow you will do it\nPerform routine inspections, testing, servicing, installing and preventative maintenance of life safety product lines as well as similar competitive manufacturer's product line.\nAccurately discern and document deficiencies found during an inspection.\nComplete Service Acknowledgement/inspections with proper coding through communicating devices, such as laptop computers, smartphones, and/or hardcopy.\nFollow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule.\nMake minor repairs and programming changes to systems being inspected.\nComplete assigned inspections on time\nCarry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs and be capable of performing physical labor.\nAssist foreman in the installation of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems.\nPerform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.\nWhat we look for\n3+ years of documented experience in sprinkler systems\nAble to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.\nExperience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, fire pumps, and foam systems\nExperience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals.\nExperience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.\nCapable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.\nAble to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.\nAbility to work flexible hours including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends to meet customer requirements.\nDemonstrate a high level of customer service.\nAbility to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.\nStrong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.\nMust have a valid driver's license. \nPay Range: Starting rate of $31.00, hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
