You will own project outcomes, coordinate with design, procurement, and field teams, and help ensure work is delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements, published codes, standards, and project specifications.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn assigned projects and drive results through every phase of delivery.\nReview project contracts, scope of delivery, schedule milestones, and execution requirements.\nCoordinate with design, procurement, and field teams to build and maintain a comprehensive project plan.\nDevelop pipe-on-job dates and manage material, labor, and subcontractor readiness.\nTrack scope changes, document deviations, and submit RFI/COR documentation to capture out-of-scope work.\nLead project meetings, participate in jobsite visits as needed, and support Work in Progress reviews.\nPrepare accurate cost-to-complete reporting and help manage project financial performance.\nFollow applicable codes, standards, and unique project specifications throughout execution.\nHow You Will Do It\nTake full ownership of assigned projectsby setting clear priorities, honoring commitments, and acting with integrity, honesty, and transparency.\nStay close to the workby understanding the contract, scope, schedule dates, and site realities so you can remove obstacles before they affect delivery.\nPlan ahead with disciplineby aligning design, procurement, and field activities to support schedule, budget, and job readiness.\nCommunicate openly and professionallywith customers and team members, keeping expectations clear and relationships strong.\nUse facts and follow-through to solve problemswhen scope changes, delays, or project risks arise, and document actions promptly through RFI/COR processes.\nWork as one teamwith internal partners, subcontractors, and customers to keep work moving safely and efficiently.\nContinuously look for better ways to deliverby reviewing costs, improving project controls, and seeking opportunities to beat budget without compromising quality or safety.\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nTwo or more years of experience as a project manager or in design work within the fire protection industry.\nAbility to work in a matrix structure and resolve conflict while managing multiple complex projects.\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.\nHighly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.\nNice to Have\nBachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or equivalent field.\nFive years of fire protection, construction, or related project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nAbility to read and understand complex building architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents.\nKnowledge of standards, Underwriter’s requirements, and applicable building codes.\nNICET Certification.\nWhy Join Us\nYou will join a collaborative team with access to extensive product and on-the-job training opportunities, scheduling and management support, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, and paid time off.
