The role is hands-on, field-based, and focused on supporting customers where conventional fire protection is not enough, including specialized environments that require clean agent, dry agent, or foam suppression solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nInstall suppression systems for environments where conventional fire protection is inadequate, such as computer rooms, fuel storage areas, rare document collections, or manufacturing equipment.\nPerform basic installation of raceways, wiring, and piping, and support components during inspection and testing activities.\nIdentify simple design elements from engineering plans and follow layout requirements accurately.\nInstall clean agent, dry agent, and foam suppression systems.\nIntegrate detection and suppression components to support complete system operation.\nEnsure correct spacing, layout, and wiring or piping per design and applicable codes.\nMaintain and track inventory to support job readiness and field execution.\nSupport programming, commissioning, and system verification activities with the team.\nHow You Will Do It\nYou will work safely, stay accountable for your work, and treat code compliance and quality as non-negotiable.\nYou will stay close to the jobsite details, follow the plan carefully, and remove obstacles quickly so the customer can keep moving.\nYou will use testing, feedback, and practical problem-solving to improve your work every day.\nYou will collaborate with teammates, customers, and supervisors, sharing information clearly and supporting the work as one team.\nYou will use your tools and technical skills to deliver clean, organized installations and dependable commissioning support.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nValid driver’s license.\nMechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.\nAbility to lift up to 40 lbs and work in confined spaces, including ladder use.\nStrong customer service and communication skills.\nSkilled in using hand and power tools, digital multimeters, aerial lift trucks, and diagnostic equipment.\nExcellent organizational skills.\nAbility to work across Colorado and Wyoming as needed.\nNICET I FAS/SPH, or the ability to obtain it within the first 8 months of hire.\nNice to Have\nExperience in fire alarm and/or special hazards suppression systems.\nNICET I in Fire Alarm.\nNICET I in Special Hazards.\nKnowledge of NFPA standards and handling of dangerous goods.\nASCRII Sprinkler License.\nDENFACSA License.\nWhy Join Us\nThis is a practical, customer-facing role where you can build hands-on experience with fire alarm and special hazards systems while supporting important life safety work.
