Our people are at the centre of our success, and we're committed to helping them build rewarding, long-term careers.\nAbout the Role\nDue to continued growth across the region, we are seeking a Fire Technician to join our team, with the position able to be based in either in Port Macquarie or Coffs Harbour.\nThis is a hands-on role responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, repair, and installation of a wide range of fire protection systems and equipment. You'll work with a diverse customer base, ensuring fire systems remain compliant, operational, and ready when it matters most.\nKey Responsibilities\nInspect customer sites and identify fire protection requirements.\nService, maintain, and repair fire protection and life safety systems.\nConduct preventative maintenance in accordance with Australian Standards.\nComplete installations, upgrades, and minor project works.\nDiagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance activities.\nEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with company and regulatory requirements.\nBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service delivery.\nWhat We're Looking For\nCustomer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality service.\nRelevant fire industry qualifications and licences.\nElectrical licence or fire industry experience highly regarded.\nStrong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.\nEffective planning, scheduling, and time management abilities.\nSound knowledge and application of WHS requirements.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.\nWhy Join Johnson Controls?\nAt Johnson Controls, we value flexibility and understand the importance of work-life balance.
