The successful candidate combines deep category expertise, strong commercial acumen, executive-level supplier engagement capabilities, and a passion for driving transformational business results.\nThe successful candidate combines deep category expertise, strong commercial acumen, executive-level supplier engagement capabilities, and a passion for driving transformational business results.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCategory Strategy & Growth Enablement\nOwn a global category portfolio of $250M-$400M annual spend, supported by regional category managers and buyers.\nDevelop and execute global category strategies that support business growth, new product roadmaps, cost competitiveness, and supply resiliency.\nLead supply market intelligence, multi-year sourcing roadmaps, supplier capacity planning, localization, and risk mitigation initiatives.\nDrive category governance, preferred supplier strategies, and long-term supplier development plans to support unconstrained growth.\nStrategic Sourcing & Commercial Leadership\nLead global sourcing events, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract execution.\nNegotiate pricing, capacity reservation agreements, working capital improvements, inventory strategies, and long-term supply agreements.\nOptimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while balancing quality, delivery, innovation, and risk.\nCost Improvement & Value Creation\nDeliver annual productivity, cost savings, and inflation mitigation targets through strategic sourcing and supplier optimization.\nLead VA/VE, should-cost, design-to-cost, and specification improvement initiatives in partnership with Engineering and suppliers.\nDrive working capital improvements through payment term optimization and supply chain financing strategies.\nSupplier Relationship Management\nServe as the executive commercial lead for strategic and preferred suppliers.\nConduct executive business reviews, performance management, and supplier segmentation activities.\nDevelop joint business plans focused on capacity expansion, innovation, quality, and long-term growth.\nSupply Assurance & Risk Management\nProactively manage supply risks related to capacity, quality, financial stability, compliance, and business continuity.\nImplement mitigation strategies including dual sourcing, supplier development, localization, inventory optimization, and capacity agreements.\nLead critical supplier escalations and business continuity recovery actions.\nCross-Functional Leadership\nPartner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Product Management, Finance, and regional Procurement teams to execute category strategies.\nProvide procurement leadership for NPI, supplier qualification, product lifecycle management, and supplier transitions.\nAlign global category strategies with regional execution and business objectives.\nContract & Governance Management\nManage the complete contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, risk management, and continuity of supply.\nMaintain strategic contract coverage and adherence to procurement policies and ethical sourcing standards.\nLead executive reviews, categoryperformance reporting, and governance processes.\nLeadership Expectations\nAct as the global subject matter expert for assigned categories and supply markets.\nInfluence senior leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and supplier executives to achieve business objectives.\nLead complex global initiatives that improve growth readiness, supply assurance, cost performance, and supplier competitiveness.\nFoster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or Operations;
