Working alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, you will contribute to a range of exciting projects while building your technical expertise in smart building technologies, exposure to industry-leading technologies.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist in the design, programming, testing, and commissioning of Building Management and Control Systems (BMCS) in accordance with customer specifications, Johnson Controls standards, and quality requirements.\nSupport the development and implementation of control strategies for both new and existing installations across Johnson Controls and third-party systems.\nAssist in the design and development of graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and system visualisations in line with customer and company standards.\nParticipate in software testing and validation activities to ensure system performance meets customer requirements and quality standards.\nCollaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot system issues and support the implementation of effective solutions.\nContribute to project documentation, design reviews, and quality assurance processes.\nSupport project delivery activities, helping to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.\nWork closely with internal teams, customers, subcontractors, and site personnel to achieve successful project outcomes.\nAssist the pre-sales and engineering teams by providing technical input for system designs, project layouts, and proposal development.\nContinuously develop technical knowledge through training, mentoring, self-learning, and practical project experience.\nDemonstrate a proactive commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.\nMaintain full compliance with Johnson Controls Safety, Health & Environment Management System (SHEMS) requirements.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRecently completed or currently completing a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Control Systems, or a related Engineering discipline.\nStrong interest in building automation, smart buildings, HVAC controls, industrial automation, or control systems.\nBasic understanding of control systems, instrumentation, networking, or software programming principles.\nExposure to engineering software, IT systems, or server environments would be advantageous.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.\nFull Australian working
