We are passionate about improving the way the world lives, works and plays and therefore continuously diversifying and creating new exciting opportunities for our employees to grow.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLeadership\nCreate and Oversee the Project Team\nEnsure full compliance with British Standards\nDrive a strong EHS Culture and ensure zero harm\nDrive Growth within the business and protect margin\nCollaborate with the sales team to increase bid win rate\nStrategic Leadership\nDevelop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.\nOversee project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.\nDrive performance improvement initiatives across all operational functions.\nOperational Management\nManage day-to-day operations across multiple construction sites.\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.\nOptimize resource allocation, supply chain management, and subcontractor performance.\nFinancial Oversight\nMonitor project budgets and financial performance.\nIdentify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.\nSupport commercial teams in contract negotiations and risk management.\nTeam Development\nLead, mentor, and develop project managers and operational staff.\nPromote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.\nImplement training programs to enhance technical and leadership skills.\nStakeholder Engagement\nBuild strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.\nAct as a key point of contact for operational queries and escalations.\nRepresent the company in industry forums and networking events.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nEssential Qualifications & Experience\nFull UK driving licence.\nM&E Project Leadership\nContractual Awareness\nPrevious experience in a fire compliance or fire detection design role.\nKnowledge of BS5839, BS7671, FIA standards, and BAFE schemes.\nExperience in fire alarm system installation and commissioning.\nExcellent communication and training delivery skills.\nProven ability to manage change and influence stakeholders at all levels.\nPreferred Skills\nPrior experience in a Project leadership role.\nFamiliarity with security systems alongside fire systems.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Power Automate.\nExperience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.\nCommercial awareness and ability to support business growth.\nWhy work for Johnson Controls?\nWe have created the perfect platform for you to progress your career with Johnson Controls, with a range of opportunities available.
