You will help strengthen employee relations, support leaders through performance and labor-related matters, and drive practical HR solutions that improve productivity, engagement, and the overall work environment.\nWhat you will do\nLead local HR support for employees and managers in a manufacturing environment.\nPartner with plant leadership on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and workplace concerns.\nSupport union avoidance efforts and labor-sensitive situations with sound judgment, clear communication, and consistent application of policy.\nHelp drive lean process improvement and productivity initiatives that support plant operations.\nSupport recruitment, onboarding, and orientation for hourly and salaried openings as needed.\nCoach supervisors and managers on employment practices, employee engagement, and effective people leadership.\nAssist with talent management, succession planning, employee development, and training coordination.\nSupport compliance with company policies, employment practices, and applicable labor requirements.\nMaintain accurate HR records, respond to employee inquiries, and support reporting or budget-related HR activities as assigned.\nHow you will do it\nStay close to the workby partnering with supervisors, employees, and plant leaders to understand issues early and remove barriers quickly.\nOwn outcomes with accountability, safety, and integritywhen handling employee relations, investigations, policy concerns, and sensitive labor matters.\nUse candid problem-solving and continuous improvementto simplify HR processes, support lean thinking, and strengthen day-to-day execution.\nWin as one teamby building trust across operations, safety, finance, and leadership while balancing business needs with employee experience.\nUse clear documentation, consistent follow-through, and practical coaching to help managers make sound decisions.\nWhat are we looking for?\nManufacturing HR experience in a plant, production, or industrial environment.\nExperience with union avoidance and labor relations in a manufacturing setting.\nExperience supporting lean process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives.\nExperience supporting organizations with at least 100 employees.\nExperience in employee relations, investigations, performance management, and manager coaching.\nAbility to work effectively with hourly employees and plant leadership.\nStrong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience maintaining HR documentation and handling confidential information with discretion.\nNice to Have\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.\nExperience with Workday, HR Atlas, or JCMS.\nExperience supporting compensation administration, payroll coordination, or organizational design.\nExperience supporting employee engagement, talent development, or diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.\nWhat do
