In this role, you will balance operational performance, customer satisfaction, safety, and compliance while supporting branch financial goals and building strong relationships across the community.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the performance and execution of assigned Controls and Mechanical Installation delivery teams.\nSupport revenue forecasting, billings, collections, resource planning, and cost control for the branch.\nAssign projects and coordinate the engineering, commissioning, and mechanical resources needed to deliver them.\nManage installation scheduling, equipment backlog, and key dates such as want dates and ship dates.\nSet clear goals and development plans for direct reports and support performance and salary management processes.\nRecruit Project Team Leaders, System Team Leaders, Lead Systems Specialists, Project Engineers, and Equipment System Application Engineers with the right skills for branch needs.\nEnsure estimating and engineering standards are applied consistently and effectively.\nFollow up on customer satisfaction issues and drive timely resolution.\nSupport annual strategic and financial operating planning with senior leadership.\nBuild and maintain relationships with contractors, customers, consultants, and subcontractors in the community.\nReview and interpret contract terms and conditions with project and sales teams.\nCoach teams on project risk management, conflict resolution, and project recovery planning.\nPromote the securing of change orders and support strong project execution.\nEnsure compliance with the Safety Program and with state, local, federal, and legal requirements.\nHow You Will Do It\nOwn outcomes with accountability by setting clear expectations, following through on commitments, and making safety and integrity part of every decision.\nStay close to work by understanding project realities, removing obstacles quickly, and helping teams respond to customer and delivery needs.\nImprove every day by using candor, practical problem-solving, and disciplined follow-up to reduce slippage and strengthen performance.\nWin as one team by building trust across internal partners, field teams, contractors, and customers, and by valuing diverse perspectives when solving problems.\nUse operating data such as backlog, collections, productivity, and resource demand to guide priorities and keep work moving.\nCoach and develop people in a way that supports both branch goals and individual growth.\nWhat we look for\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree or associate degree construction, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience.\nAt least seven years of progressively more responsible project leadership experience in the building construction industry.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to negotiate effectively, work in a matrix environment, negotiate and handle conflict resolution situations.\nExperience with MS Project and MS tools.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.\nAbility to travel based on geographical locations.\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $103,000 - $155,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
