Will work with Project Manager, Site Superintendent, and Regional Management to perform technical and administrative tasks that support the activities of an HVAC Building Solutions Project Team on major projects\nHow you will do it\nTracks status and logs Project Submittals for consultant approval, ensuring that all required information for the submittal is included and identifies compliance issue to the appropriate parties.\nTakes meeting minutes and distributes to the appropriate parties, as required.\nGathers Site Instructions, Variation Requests, Change Directives and Field Changes and forwards to the HVAC Building Solutions Project Manager\nAssist the Project Manager with ordering, tracking and delivering the material, and coordinating the subcontractor(s) and our own resources on projects.\nAssist the Project Manager in the preparation and maintenance of Change Order Logs, Risks/Issues Logs, Project Construction Schedules, Cost & Resource Loaded Schedules and project close-outs and Vendor Progress Claims\nAssist site superintendent with onsite activities and follow-ups for security, safety, site access, and site inspection.\nCreate MS Project schedules and lookahead schedules.\nProvide additional Operations Support, as required.\nWhat we look for\nRequired\nUniversity degree and 1 year suggested minimum experience in a similar role, or 3-year college diploma and 5 years suggested minimum experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nPrevious experience in the construction industry, specifically in electrical or mechanical fields.\nProject Co-ordination / Construction Management experience.\nValid Full G driver's license, reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record.\nMust have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.\nMust have the ability to simultaneously handle a large and diverse number of tasks and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.\nAbility to prioritize work activities based on financial impact to desired business goals. Experience and/or basic project accounting or costing principals is desired.\nMust have proficient computer skills within the following applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint and Internet business application usage.\nMust demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and demonstrate solid organizational and attention to detail skills. \nHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $32 - $48 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
