We care about your Safety Culture returning home in the same condition as you arrive at work, as no amount of money is worth risking your health or getting injured!\nYou Owe It to Yourself to Experience why JCI keeps being voted the Best Place to Work!\nDive into the latest building automation technologies on the market today.\nHVAC Project Manager - Data Center Support\nPosition Summary\nThe HVAC Project Manager is responsible for managing assigned projects within the Data Center HVAC portfolio, serving as the primary leader for planning, execution, and successful completion of highly complex mechanical and HVAC projects.\nThis role coordinates communication among customers, sales teams, subcontractors, vendors, and field operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead all phases of HVAC projects from project turnover through final closeout.\nDevelop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.\nCoordinate activities between customers, sales teams, service operations, subcontractors, and suppliers.\nMonitor project financial performance, including revenue, margins, forecasting, billing, and cost control.\nManage project risks, issues, and change orders while maintaining project profitability.\nEnsure compliance with company safety policies, contractual requirements, and industry standards.\nConduct regular project review meetings with internal and external stakeholders.\nOversee equipment procurement, material deliveries, site logistics, and subcontractor performance.\nSupport field teams by resolving technical, scheduling, and operational challenges.\nMaintain accurate project documentation, reports, schedules, and customer communications.\nBuild and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.\nCoordinate project commissioning, startup activities, punch list completion, and project closeout.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.\n5+ years of experience managing HVAC, mechanical, critical environment, or data center projects.\nStrong understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water systems, controls, commissioning, and construction processes.\nExperience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and subcontractors.\nStrong leadership, communication, and customer relationship skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting mission-critical facilities or data centers.\nPMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.\nKnowledge of critical cooling systems, redundancy strategies, and data center infrastructure.\nExperience working with commissioning agents, consulting engineers, and general contractors on large-scale projects.\nSuccess Measures\nSafe project execution with zero safety incidents.\nOn-time project completion and schedule adherence.\nAchievement of project margin and profitability targets.\nHigh customer satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.\nStrong collaboration across sales, operations, engineering, and field teams.\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD Annual.
