Deploys and maintains standardized tools, systems and support for the Service Team. Manages resources to maximize customer satisfaction and improve productivity and profitability. Effectively recruits, develops and retains employees. Ensures overall operational excellence and service growth.\nHow you will do it:\nSet and monitor goals for overall team growth and profitability.\nLead the efforts of the Service Team to ensure productivity, consistency and quality.\nRespond and assist with the closure of warranty-related issues.\nManage customer relationships and drive issue resolution.\nAssist with monthly forecasting and management of overhead accounts.\nMaintain optimum team staffing levels through labor forecasting, planning, and management.\nRecruit, hire and retain team staff.\nWork with direct reports and Team Technical Leads to create effective development performance plans.\nCommunicate clear performance expectations, conduct quarterly one on one meetings and annual performance reviews for direct reports. \nApprove time sheets for direct reports, ensuring pre-job checklists, daily debriefing, and monthly Near Misses are completed in a timely manner.\nPerform all other necessary management tasks related bookings, Accounts Payables and Account Receivable.\nTake responsibility for safety performance and program compliance.\nAssist Service Team in identifying and actively pursuing opportunities for additional work through change orders.\nDevelop and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants and subcontractors.\nWhat we look for:\nAs a leader, you will need to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers, both verbally and in writing. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you will take ownership of issues and resolutions. You are comfortable simultaneously handling a large and diverse number of tasks with tact, cooperation, and persistence. Your proven organizational and time management skills mean you are able to regroup as priorities and objectives change. Customer satisfaction is your priority.\nRequired Qualifications:\nCollege degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nA minimum of 10 years’ experience in the HVAC field.\nPreferred Skills/Education/Experience:\nBachelor’s in a technical field.\n5 years of supervisory experience and 1-2 years related site coordination and project management experience.\n5 years field experience in HVAC and/or building controls systems, including knowledge of digital HVAC controls.\nExperience using service management software and financial accounting systems.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment.\nStrong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to positively represent Johnson Controls and communicate with others at varying technical levels.\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $92,400 - $139,000. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
