The role ensures optimal performance, reliability, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction across assigned customer sites.\nKey Responsibilities\nInstallation & Commissioning\nSupport installation, commissioning, and start-up of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers\n\nVerify system compliance with design specifications and safety standards\n\nCoordinate with project teams, contractors, and customers during commissioning\n\nService & Maintenance\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC chiller systems\n\nDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults\n\nCarry out overhauls, compressor servicing, oil analysis, and refrigerant handling\n\nEnsure timely closure of service calls and breakdowns\n\nTechnical Support\nInterpret wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and control logic\n\nCalibrate sensors, valves, and control devices\n\nEnsure proper operation of pumps, cooling towers, and associated equipment\n\nMaintain compliance with OEM guidelines and statutory safety norms\n\nCustomer Management\nInteract with customers professionally and provide technical explanations\n\nPrepare service reports, root cause analysis (RCA), and recommendations\n\nUpsell AMC, spares, and service upgrades where applicable\n\nDocumentation & Compliance\nMaintain detailed service records and job reports\n\nFollow EHS guidelines, work permits, and safety procedures\n\nSupport audits and quality improvement initiatives\n\nKey Skills & Competencies\nStrong knowledge of HVAC chiller systems (screw, centrifugal, scroll, reciprocating)\n\nHands-on experience with refrigerants (R134a, R410A, R407C, etc.)\n\nElectrical troubleshooting (motors, VFDs, starters, panels)\n\nFamiliarity with BMS, PLCs, and control systems\n\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills\n\nGood communication and customer-handling skills\n\nWillingness to travel and work on-site\n\nDesired Certifications (Preferred)\nHVAC / RAC Certification\n\nOEM Chiller Training (Carrier, Trane, Daikin, York, etc.)\n\nElectrical Safety / EHS Certification\n\nWork Conditions\nField-based role requiring travel to customer sites\n\nMay
