In this role, you will help shape inventory plans that support strong on-time delivery, healthy inventory turns, and disciplined management of obsolete stock.\nYou will analyze demand, supply, and inventory signals to build and maintain a multi-million-dollar inventory plan. The role partners closely with Finance, Operations, Sales, Supply Planning, and Data Analytics to improve service levels, strengthen inventory decisions, and create more efficient planning processes.\nHow you will do it\nDevelop inventory plans using optimization methods that support customer service levels and improve inventory turns.\nBuild and refine safety stock levels based on demand and supply variability.\nAnalyze customer demand and supplier performance to define the breadth and depth of the inventory plan.\nCreate supply plans based on forecast input and seasonal fluctuations.\nCalculate economic order quantities and translate them into practical order plans.\nLeverage multi-echelon inventory optimization algorithms to help determine safety stock levels across the parts network.\nCollaborate with Finance to report on inventory health and support visibility into working capital and obsolete stock exposure.\nPartner with Operations and Supply Planning to create projected inventory plans and forecast receipt schedules.\nWork with Finance, Operations, and Sales to review end-of-life inventory and drive appropriate disposition actions.\nLead monthly inventory review meetings with cross-functional stakeholders and track follow-up actions.\nIdentify process improvement opportunities that strengthen demand planning, supply planning, and inventory efficiency.\nSupport automation and system enhancement ideas that improve planning accuracy and reduce manual work.\nPartner with the Data Analytics team to develop digital solutions that provide meaningful insights into inventory health.\nUse fact-based analysis to balance service levels, inventory turns, and inventory investment.\nStay close to the data and the operational reality so recommendations are practical and actionable.\nBuild trust with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Supply Planning by aligning assumptions early and communicating clearly.\nReview exceptions, root causes, and trends consistently so risks are identified before they affect service.\nLook for continuous improvement opportunities in planning logic, reporting, automation, and meeting cadence.\nTurn complex inventory analysis into concise actions that teams can execute and review monthly.\nWhat we look for\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or Mathematics.\n5 years of proven experience in data analytics preferably within Supply chain and logistics.\nProven experience in statistical analysis, data modelling and manipulation and predictive analytics.\nWillingness to travel both domestic and internationally (20-30%) to develop firsthand understanding of sites and the wider organizational challenges.\nPreferred\nAdvance Degree, MS and/or MBA\nProficiency in using statistical and visualization tools such as Python, R, Power BI.\nAPICS CPIM certification\nProficiency in using supply planning software and advanced analytics tools.\nExperience in collaborating with multiple sites and business units to achieve business objectives.\nStrong verbal and written communication competencies\n· Familiarity with the building technologies market.\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $88,000- 121,00(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
