This role is responsible for supporting the delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of hardware, software, network, and endpoint technologies across assigned locations. The IT Operations Engineer resolves complex technical issues, supports infrastructure reliability, and assists with the execution of enterprise technology initiatives, upgrades, and deployments. Working closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams, this position helps ensure secure, efficient, and reliable technology services while delivering a high-quality end-user experience. The role also contributes to operational excellence by supporting security, compliance, asset management, and process improvement activities across the organization.\nCore Responsibilities & Expectations\nInstall, configure, maintain, and support hardware including PCs, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, and specialized equipment.\nProvide software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and technical support for end users.\nPerform endpoint vulnerability remediation and support compliance with enterprise security standards.\nSupport Enterprise and Business Unit (BU) project demand, including infrastructure upgrades, deployments, migrations, and other technology initiatives.\nLead local execution of infrastructure upgrades, technology refreshes, and enterprise IT deployments while ensuring adherence to technical standards and operational requirements.\nDeliver Tech Hut / walk-up IT support services.\nManage PC lifecycle activities including provisioning, deployment, refresh, asset management, and retirement.\nProvide local infrastructure support for servers, network equipment, telecommunications, and VoIP systems.\nDeliver on-site Smart Hands support and coordinate activities with third-party vendors and internal IT teams.\nAdminister and support mobile devices and associated management platforms.\nSupport IT procurement processes for hardware, software, and related services.\nManage user access requests, including network share permissions and other access requirements.\nEnsure adherence to local IT security standards, including communications room management, maintenance, and access controls.\nAssist internal compliance and audit teams with IT-related audit activities and remediation efforts.\nProvide support to satellite offices and remote locations, including travel as required.\nCoordinate and manage IT vendors at the site and regional levels.\nServe as a technical escalation point for complex incidents, service requests, and infrastructure-related issues.\nParticipate in root cause analysis, problem management, and remediation activities to improve system reliability and prevent recurring issues.\nIdentify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, standardize processes, and enhance service delivery across Field IT Operations.\nSupport varying service hours as business needs require.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nMinimum of 4-5 years of experience supporting enterprise IT environments.\nExperience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, endpoint management tools, and networking technologies.\nWorking knowledge of server, network, telecommunications, and infrastructure support.\nDemonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nIndustry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, ITIL, or equivalent.\nExperience supporting enterprise infrastructure projects, migrations, and technology deployments.\nExperience working within a geographically dispersed IT support organization.\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $79,000-105,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
