Support Senior Building Operators in day-to-day activities and preventive maintenance programs.\nHow you will do it:\nUse of industrial floor scrubber cleaning of industrial areas.\nOperation of Skid Steer to move material as required. Emptying of waste bins. \nSnow removal by the use of the Skid Steer, snow removal equipment and manually. \nUpkeep by cleaning and inspections of industrial equipment to ensure they are running smoothly and reliable. \nGeneral facility maintenance and upkeep activities at the direction of the senior operators and Customer Business Manager.\nRespond to service events as per site SOP’s.\nComplete work orders and reporting documentation accurately and in a timely manner.\nRespond to all relevant Emergencies and participate in all urgent rectification events.\nSupport HVAC equipment maintenance including filter changing, cleaning, monitoring and perform minor repairs.\nAll mechanical maintenance duties with equipment used for tasks.\nProvide general handyman services throughout the facility as required.\nPerform routine checks of buildings and grounds.\nHousekeeping and general upkeep.\nEnsure work is completed safely and proper Policy / Procedures are followed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat we look for:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, experience in landscaping, facility maintenance or construction preferred.\nTraining will be provided for the Scrubber and Skid Steer, but prior experience is an asset.\nGeneral mechanical knowledge is an asset.\nExcellent verbal and written communications skills required in English\nCapable of independently following instructions both written and verbal.\nAbility to maintain a professional demeanor at all times with fellow employees and customer.\nAble to accomplish all duties and tasks as assigned.\nWorking and operation knowledge of computers.\nMay be required to use a variety of hand and power tools.\nA team player, committed to working in a quality environment.\nCompliance with all company policies and procedures and adherence to company health and safety standards.\nEffective liaison with Contractors on site, or those required to be called-in, to return equipment to service and/or ensure an emergency repair.\nDemonstrating innovation and self-motivation while being an effective team player.\nOther Requirements:\nBending and lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs required\nMust be able to work on a ladder or scaffold at various heights.\nPay Rate: $25.07 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet.
