This is a varied position that combines traditional management accounting responsibilities with ownership of commission reporting, payroll support, incentive schemes and employee reward analysis. The role sits at the centre of finance, working closely with operational leaders, Payroll, HR and senior management to ensure that financial information is accurate, insightful and supports effective decision making across the organisation. The successful candidate will be naturally analytical, comfortable working with large volumes of data and able to translate complex information into clear business insight. They will enjoy balancing detailed financial administration with broader commercial analysis and will play an important role in helping the business understand performance, reward outcomes and future opportunities.\nHow will you do it\nSupport preparation of management accounts and financial reporting.\nAnalyse business performance and provide financial insights to leadership teams.\nAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.\nMaintain financial records, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy.\nOwn commission and incentive reporting processes.\nCalculate and validate commission and incentive payments.\nMonitor performance against targets and provide reporting to stakeholders.\nPartner with operational teams to ensure transparency and accuracy of commission outcomes.\nIdentify opportunities to improve reporting, governance, and process efficiency.\nSupport payroll processes, including data validation and payroll reconciliations.\nAnalyse payroll costs, incentive spend, and employee reward programmes.\nCollaborate with HR and business leaders on reward and compensation frameworks.\nIdentify financial trends, risks, and opportunities to support decision-making.\nContinuously improve financial controls, reporting processes, and data quality.\nWork closely with Finance, HR, Payroll, operational teams, and senior management.\nWhat we are looking for\nRequired:\nExperience in Management Accounting, Financial Analysis, Payroll, Commissions, Reward, or a similar finance-related role.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data.\nExperience working with large volumes of financial and operational data.\nAdvanced Excel and reporting skills.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive financial information.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills.\nAbility to provide commercial insights that support business performance.\nExperience with commission schemes, payroll processes, incentive programmes, or performance analysis is advantageous.\nPreferred:\nWorking towards or holding a finance qualification such as AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or ACA\nWhy Join Us\nThis role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact across both finance and people-related initiatives.
