engineering support for manual and automated assembly, test and production processes.\nAnalyse production data to identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.\nLead manufacturing improvement and capital expenditure projects from concept through to final acceptance and handover.\nTroubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime and improve process performance.\nCoordinate engineering activities associated with New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and ensure successful implementation into production.\nDevelop production processes, tooling, fixtures, work instructions and validation plans for new and existing products.\nCreate and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and deliver training where required.\nDefine, maintain and optimise equipment programmes for current and new product lines.\nComplete PFMEAs and Control Plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.\nMaintain engineering drawings, documentation and BOMs within the ERP system.\nSupport automation, digitalisation and Industry 4.0 initiatives across the site.\nMentor junior engineers, apprentices and work experience students.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nRequired\nDegree, HNC or HND in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.\nMinimum 5 years' experience within a manufacturing engineering environment.\nStrong knowledge of assembly, test and production manufacturing processes.\nExperience leading manufacturing improvement and engineering projects.\nUnderstanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings and create process documentation.\nExperience using 2D and 3D CAD software, preferably Inventor, SolidWorks or AutoCAD.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.\nBeneficial\nExperience with automation and manufacturing equipment integration.\nBackground in automotive, FMCG or high-volume manufacturing environments.\nKnowledge of ERP/MRP systems, manufacturing analytics and production performance monitoring tools.\nWorking knowledge of metrology, GD&T, mechatronics and 3D printing technologies.\nExperience programming and operating coordinate measuring equipment (CMM).\nSix Sigma Green Belt or equivalent Lean/Continuous Improvement qualification.\nExperience preparing technical specifications and supporting capital equipment procurement
