In this visible role, you will help maintain accurate lead times, dependable schedule commitments, and timely communication across the teams that support customer delivery.\nYou will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to keep planning data current, respond to changes quickly, and help improve the flow of orders through the manufacturing process.\nRole Overview\nThis role is the scheduling and prioritization link between Customer Service, Manufacturing, Product Management, Engineering, and third-party suppliers. You will help manage plant schedules, support supply-demand planning, and coordinate changes that affect order dates, manufacturing holds, and revision impacts.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate scheduling priorities across Applied Equipment departments, manufacturing plants, and external partners to support order schedules and production capability.\nCommunicate and document accurate chiller lead times while supporting effective plant scheduling.\nSupport supply-demand activities, including the Sales and Operations Planning process.\nTrack order processing lead times between Customer Service and Manufacturing Plants and identify opportunities to improve performance.\nHelp reduce time lost on orders placed on manufacturing hold.\nMaintain strong working relationships with Sales, Service, Customers, Suppliers, Product Management, and Engineering to keep information flowing clearly and on time.\nRespond to engineering changes that affect product ordering and order status.\nEscalate and communicate delays or accelerations in scheduled dates proactively.\nComplete additional assignments as needed.\nHow You Will Do It\nOwn schedule commitments with accuracy, accountability, and integrity, keeping customer impact and business priorities in view.\nStay close to the work by partnering directly with plants, Customer Service, Engineering, Product Management, and suppliers to remove blockers quickly.\nBring issues forward early, use clear candor, and solve problems before small changes become larger schedule disruptions.\nWork as one team across functions and regions, building trust and respecting different perspectives when priorities need to be aligned.\nLook for ways to improve every day by learning from exceptions, documenting patterns, and strengthening scheduling processes over time.\nUse professional communication with senior leaders and cross-functional partners, adapting your approach to the audience and situation.\nQualifications\nUniversity degree and at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing scheduling or project management.\nCandidates without a degree may be considered with at least 10 years of manufacturing scheduling or project management experience.\nAbility to work independently and effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders across geographies and functional disciplines.\nComfort managing VP- and Director-level relationships and adjusting communication style as needed.\nProficiency with Microsoft PC applications.\nAbility to learn new technologies as needed.\nMinimal travel required.\nNice to Have\nExperience with Oracle or similar business-based systems.\nExposure to S&OP, ERP/MRP-based planning, or master scheduling processes.\nWhy Join Us\nThis is a highly visible role where your work directly supports customer commitments, plant execution, and scheduling performance.
