Research/ source potential vendors for required goods & services (DM/IDM) and Send RFI/ RFQ/ RFP (Request for Information/ Quotation/ Proposal) to the suppliers.\n· Compare and evaluate techno-commercial offers from suppliers.\n· Negotiate pricing & terms of agreement applicable to the Order and send Comparative statement for approval.\n· Converting Purchase requisitions to Purchase Order in SAP as per approved prices.\n· Scheduling, tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery of materials with regular follow-up.\n· Just in time (JIT) items planning & scheduling.\n· Co-ordinate with Stores for on-time GRN and proper storage.\n· Maintaining System Hygiene and Manage inventory issues.\n· Monitor stock levels of consumables, hardware, and other C class items; place orders as needed to ensure availability.\n· Take lead in solving critical material shortage problems.\n· Rejection handling- Communicate to Supplier, tracking return material, informing supplier on returned material.
