Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, you will maintain the materials in the warehouse in an organized fashion with part numbers on all product, pull and stage jobs as assigned per the production schedule and associated pick tickets, deliver staged jobs per the production schedule and respond to material requisitions where pick lists or Kanban systems are not in place. Inventory accuracy is the highest priority for this role except for Safety which is the only activity that outweighs accuracy.\nCandidates MUST have excellent Skills in the following: \nExcel- be able to create and maintaining spreadsheets by pulling data from our computer systems\nCommunication- front facing with customers and logistic teams in-person and via emails or phone\nOverall excellent computer knowledge and skills\nTypical schedule will be Mon-Friday 9am-5pm. Could potentially be 9-10 hours days and Saturdays required depending on the plant's production/shipping schedule.\nMaterial Handler - Job Responsibilities\n1. Daily Shipping Operations\nReview overnight emails each morning to identify shipments completed during the previous shift and update the shipping schedule accordingly.\nMark completed shipments and identify truckloads that need to be canceled, rescheduled, or communicated as ready for pickup.\nPrint the daily QS order list and monitor order progress throughout the shift to ensure all scheduled orders ship on time.\nTrack shipping status throughout the day, including orders that have shipped, are on QA hold, or are currently being built.\nConfirm that every scheduled truckload has been taken care of and no shipments were missed\nEnsure all orders have the required PRO number.\n2. Shipping Schedule Management\nCreate and maintain the weekly shipping schedule as new orders are released, maintaining visibility at least one week in advance.\nOrganize and classify shipments by truckload, international shipment, and potential combo opportunities.\nAssign the appropriate carrier to each shipment based on TL map.\nMonitor and update the shipping schedule throughout the day to reflect changes in order status and shipment progress.\n3. International Shipping and Commercial Invoices\nReceive and organize international shipping orders via email for the upcoming month.\nMaintain an Excel commercial invoice (CI) tracking spreadsheet to monitor invoice preparation and completion.\nPrepare commercial invoices in advance of scheduled international shipment dates.\nSubmit commercial invoices for review, track pending approvals, and update their status to “Waiting Approval,” “Approved,” or “Review,” as applicable.\nFollow up on pending commercial invoice approvals to ensure all required documentation is completed before shipment.\n4. Carrier Coordination and Shipment Tracking\nEmail carriers up to three days in advance to coordinate upcoming shipments.\nProvide carriers with pallet dimensions, job order numbers, and scheduled order build dates.\nReceive PRO numbers from carriers and enter them into the shipping system.\n5. Shipping Documentation and Customer Service Support\nDeliver paperwork for orders shipped during the previous day to the Customer Service department each morning.\nAssist with preparing and verifying packing lists and other required shipping documents.\n6. Truck Driver and Pickup Coordination\nReceive incoming truck drivers and verify the orders scheduled for pickup.\nDirect drivers to the appropriate bay and verify that required copies of shipping documents are signed.\nCommunicate pickup information and coordinate with the shipping floor to support an efficient loading process.\n7. Warehouse and Floor Support\nAssist with shipping operations on the warehouse floor as needed.\nOperate the wrapping machine to prepare pallets for shipment.\nScan pallets and assist with shipment.\n8.
