In this role, you'll drive New Product Development, Product Enhancements, and Sustaining Engineering initiatives across a dedicated product line. Working closely with Product Design Managers and cross-functional teams, you'll bring concepts to life while ensuring projects are delivered with precision, quality, and efficiency. You'll collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fellow designers to transform ideas into successful products that power our customers' success.\nThis is a remote opportunity for candidates based in the US. Only US citizens and/or permanent residents of the US will be considered for this role.\nHow you will do it\nProficient knowledge of 3D design software (CREO) and general knowledge of 3d Design Intent Concepts\nContinually monitor design project to identify potential risk and adjusts when/where necessary.\nPossesses a high level of mechanical design understanding, demonstrated through tool-based tasks such as:\nSystem or large assembly layouts\nSheet Metal construction and DFM\nDrawing Creation and Drawing Best Practices\nPDM System related file management processes\nAbility to work with ambiguity regarding design specifications; researching and communicating with various departments to resolve gaps in scope. \nDemonstrates proficient knowle\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and develop designs that are well aligned with manufacturing capabilities.\nDemonstrates proficient knowledge of design procedures such as retrieving and apply information from engineering standards and schematics, purchasing and manufacturing specifications for preparation, release and revision of drawings and Bills of Material.\nWhat we look for \nRequired\nCREO experience\nTechnical/Associate Degree in Mechanical Design/Drafting with 2+ years of experience, or 5+ years of experience in lieu of a degree \nSheet metal, piping, and large assembly design \n US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident of the United States.\nHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $30.00 - $40.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
