This is an onsite role, and candidates should be within commuting distance of one of these sites or willing to relocate; relocation packages are available.\nWhat You Will Do\nIn this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert for Custom Air Units and Air Handling Systems, providing commercial, competitive, and technical support to the field sales organization. You will work closely with a small technical team and partner with engineering, manufacturing, marketing, customer service, and airside technical service to solve project, application, and order issues.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide commercial, competitive, and technical application support to the field sales organization on Custom Air Units with minimal direction.\nSupport field requests for AHU project work with a strong emphasis on Basis of Design.\nProvide application training and project management support for Air Handling Systems, as needed.\nSupport customer visits and factory tours when required.\nParticipate in testing of AHU selection and pricing software.\nWork with field sales, manufacturing, engineering, and customer service to resolve Air Handling Unit order issues.\nPartner with engineering to develop cost-effective solutions for unique Air Handling Unit applications.\nAssist Airside Technical Service with field application issues as needed.\nDevelop technical documents to support field sales on air handling application topics.\nWork with marketing to define selection and pricing software requirements.\nDetermine appropriate techniques, procedures, and theories for analysis, design, and research of air handling products.\nUse complex problem-solving skills that require ingenuity and creativity.\nReview and analyze engineering rules and documents as necessary.\nRecommend cost savings and value engineering alternatives for Air Handling Units and systems.\nProvide technical direction to other engineers, drafters, or technicians on assigned work.\nPrepare, check, and coordinate the release of documentation for Custom Air Handling products.\nApply concurrent engineering principles to product requirements and manufacturing processes.\nConduct feasibility studies and systems analysis for new applications.\nHow you will do it\nYou will own each assignment through to resolution, working with safety, integrity, and accountability.\nYou will stay close to the work by partnering directly with field sales and cross-functional teams to remove obstacles for customers.\nYou will use candor, structured analysis, and continuous improvement to solve technical issues and improve processes.\nYou will win as one team by sharing information clearly, building trust, and respecting different perspectives across engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and service.\nYou will balance technical accuracy with practical recommendations that support customer needs, manufacturability, and cost effectiveness.\nYou will communicate clearly, document decisions carefully, and keep work moving across functions.\nWhat We Look For\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.\n1-4 years of experience, or recent graduate experience aligned to the role.\nDesign experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor.\nAbility to support onsite work in York, PA, or Hattiesburg, MS, with commuting access to one of these locations or willingness to relocate.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical partners.\nNice to Have\nExperience with Air Handling Units, Air Handling Systems, or custom HVAC application support.\nExposure to AHU selection and pricing software.\nFamiliarity with Basis of Design, value engineering, or concurrent engineering concepts.\nExperience supporting customer visits, factory tours, or field sales teams.\nWhy Join Us\nThis role gives you the opportunity to work on technical problems that directly support customers and the field sales organization.
