This role works closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to identify needs, evaluate options, resolve issues, and ensure procurement activities meet the organization’s standards for price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.\nWhat you will do\nIdentify, research, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet standards for price, quality, delivery timing, and reliability of supply.\nCoordinate MRO purchasing activities and serve as a primary contact for MRO-related inquiries, issues, and follow-up.\nMonitor inventory levels and material usage to support optimal stock availability and avoid shortages or excess.\nCollaborate with maintenance, production, engineering, quality, and procurement teams to assess MRO demand and align supply actions.\nSupport supplier negotiations, delivery scheduling, and issue resolution to help ensure on-time performance.\nConduct regular audits of inventory levels, supplier performance, and maintenance-related material processes.\nMaintain accurate records, reports, and tracking information for MRO materials, purchases, and supplier communications.\nAnalyze usage trends, historical data, and operational needs to support purchasing decisions and process improvements.\nAct as a subject matter expert in procurement-related activities and support or coach junior buyers when needed.\nHelp drive process simplification and continuous improvement in MRO coordination and procurement workflows.\nHow you will do it\nYou will take ownership of outcomes with a strong focus on accountability, safety, and integrity in every purchasing and coordination decision.\nYou will stay close to the work, understand plant needs quickly, and remove obstacles that affect material availability or supplier responsiveness.\nYou will use facts, data, and clear communication to solve problems early and improve processes every day.\nYou will work as one team with internal partners and suppliers, building trust and using different perspectives to reach practical solutions.\nYou'll balance urgency and attention to detail so MRO materials are available when operations need them.\nWhat are we looking for?\nUniversity degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n6 years of suggested minimum experience in procurement, MRO coordination, buyer/planner work, or a related manufacturing environment.\nExperience identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers in a manufacturing or operational setting.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to review inventory, usage, and supplier data to support decisions.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across functions and with external suppliers.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, follow through on commitments, and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.\nNice to Have\nExperience with ERP systems and inventory management systems.\nAdvanced Excel skills.\nExposure
