This role performs payroll reconciliations, audits payroll data, supports union reporting requirements, and partners closely with HR, HRIT, Finance, and Payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, excels in Excel, has experience with Workday, and possesses a strong understanding of payroll compliance and reporting requirements.\nHow you will do it\nPerform payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance. \nAnalyze payroll data, identify discrepancies, and resolve payroll-related issues in a timely manner. \nSupport payroll processing activities for U.S., Canadian, and Puerto Rico employee populations. \nDevelop and maintain payroll reports using advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis tools. \nUtilize Workday and other payroll systems to validate employee data, pay calculations, deductions, taxes, and earnings. \nCoordinate and complete union reporting requirements, including preparation and submission of benefit, dues, pension, and other contractual reports. \nEnsure compliance with federal, state, provincial, local, and Puerto Rico payroll regulations. \nAssist with payroll tax balancing, quarter-end activities, and year-end processes. \nSupport internal and external audit requests by providing payroll data and documentation. \nPartner with HR, Finance, Benefits, Mobility, and Operations teams to resolve payroll issues and improve payroll processes. \nRecommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and controls within payroll operations. \nMaintain confidentiality of employee payroll information and sensitive company data. \nWhat we look for\n3+ years of payroll experience supporting complex payroll environments. \nExperience processing or supporting payroll in the United States; Canada and Puerto Rico payroll experience preferred. \nStrong reconciliation and analytical skills. \nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: \nPivot Tables \nVLOOKUP/XLOOKUP \nSUMIFS \nData validation \nLarge data set analysis \nExperience using Workday HRIS and payroll systems. \nExperience preparing and managing union payroll reporting requirements. \nStrong understanding of payroll regulations, wage and hour requirements, and payroll controls. \nExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. \nStrong verbal and written communication skills. \nAbility to handle multiple priorities and meet strict payroll deadlines. \nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent work experience. \nCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation. \nExperience supporting multi-country payroll operations. \nExperience working with unionized employee populations. \nKnowledge of payroll tax regulations in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. \nExperience with payroll integrations, reporting tools, and process automation. \nSuccess Factors\nHighly detail-oriented and organized. \nStrong critical thinking and investigative skills. \nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams. \nDemonstrated commitment to accuracy, compliance, and customer service. \nComfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. \nSALARY RANGE: $65,000 - $80,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
