In this role, you will lead operations and maintenance activities for customer sites in Bogota, Colombia, with responsibility for team coordination, client communication, and reliable service delivery.\nRole Overview\nThe Operations Manager 2 oversees day-to-day O&M execution across assigned sites, supporting mechanical operations, programming, monitoring, alarm response, and other contracted activities. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to keep systems performing as expected, manage staff resources, and ensure service commitments are met.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute Operations & Maintenance contract sites and supervise staff assigned to mechanical operations, programming, monitoring, alarm response, and related contracted activities.\nCommunicate with the client and the O&M team regarding contract execution issues, service priorities, and follow-up actions.\nHire, train, and schedule staff to meet contractual obligations and operational coverage needs.\nMaintain and update assigned systems, including HVAC, mechanical, fire, and security systems.\nDevelop employee training and development plans to strengthen team capability and service consistency.\nPrepare regular management reports and provide clear status updates on operational performance.\nSupport 24/7 on-call emergency assistance when required.\nEnsure work is carried out in line with applicable licensing and certification requirements.\nHow You Will Do It\nStay close to the work, remove obstacles quickly, and keep the customer informed so service delivery stays smooth and dependable.\nOwn outcomes with accountability, safety, and integrity in every decision you make.\nUse candid communication, routine follow-up, and practical problem-solving to improve performance every day.\nWork as one team with clients, technicians, and internal partners by building trust and sharing information openly.\nUse site observations, reporting, and team input to guide priorities and strengthen continuous improvement.\nQualifications\nExperience in operations, maintenance, or facilities management.\nExperience supervising staff in a technical or service environment.\nWorking knowledge of HVAC, mechanical operations, alarm response, fire systems, and security systems.\nExperience coordinating with clients and supporting contract execution.\nAbility to hire, train, and schedule staff to meet service commitments.\nAbility to prepare management reports and maintain accurate records.\nAbility to support emergency or on-call service when required.\nUnderstanding of applicable licensing and certification requirements.\nNice to Have\nExperience with Building Management Systems (BMS) or OT systems.\nExperience in high-tech facilities or multi-site operations.\nExposure to electronic security, video, access control, fire detection, or intrusion systems.\nExperience developing employee training plans or broader team development programs.\nWhy Join Us\nThis role gives you the opportunity to lead a customer-facing operation, develop people, and support the performance of critical building systems.
