This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to support operational requirements.\nHow you will do it\nAnalyze MRP demand and replenish stocks in a timely manner.\nPlace purchase orders and expedite delivery of materials to assure receipt in accordance with production program requirements.\nReview open requirements through the Follow Up or Open Order Report and expediting or defer when necessary.\nMonitor vendor performance trough the OTD and assures proper feedback and corrective actions are in place to improve vendor development.\nAssure that problems relating to delivery, pricing and invoicing are promptly conveyed to the vendor and resolved in a timely manner per standard procedures to avoid material shortages.\nProvide forecast to the specify vendors according to schedule.\nUpdate purchasing parameters to ensure material availability and optimum stock levels.\nImplement Material related Projects.\nResolve discrepancy problems in a timely manner.\nWhat we look for\nUniversity degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. \n3 Years suggested minimum experience, in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to read and understand MRP reports, stock status reports, material variance reports, and customer order shortage report \nKnowledge in running queries on the AS/400 or equivalent database\nStrong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers.\nProficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nSALARY RANGE: $78,600.00 - $118,000.00 USD Annual(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
