In addition, this position is eligible for a targeted 10% annual bonus and 8% shift differential.\nWhat you will do\nThe Production Supervisor is accountable for directing the activities of a work team in our Fabrication department, meeting daily production schedules in the assembly/fabrication of sub-assemblies, parts, or units of coils and copper while maintaining a high degree of commitment to production goals, efficiency, quality, and safety standards.\n How you will do it\nFacilitate and direct team members workflow within the assigned department, including distributing work, disseminating information, assigning team members for absences, answering questions, and resolving problems within the work unit.\nControl costs within budget levels, minimizing scrap and rework costs.\nAnticipate and react to production problems or delays, materials shortages and equipment malfunctions.\nProvide technical assistance for equipment malfunctions and expediting repairs.\nWork with engineering to effect improvements in cost reduction, work simplification, production scheduling, and labor planning.\nSupervise, evaluate and train the work group. Assist in accident investigation and corrective action.\nPromote safe work environment and ensure employees follow all safety policies.\nMaintain accurate production and employee records.\nMaintain fair and consistent application of all company policies and procedures.\nApply LEAN tools to measure and improve the departments Key Business Drivers (i.e. VSM, SMED, 5s, TPM, Kaizen, etc.).\n What we look for\nRequired\nUniversity degree and 1 year suggested minimum experience, or 2 year degree and 6 years suggested minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nMinimum of two (2) years of experience working as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.\nProficiency using MS Office Suite.\n Preferred\nLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience utilizing Lean tools to measure and improve the departments Key Business Drivers (i.e. VSM, SMED, 5s, TPM, Kaizen, etc.)\nSALARY RANGE: $70,200.00 - $105,400(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
