You will utilize your technical expertise and project management knowledge to oversee projects with some supervision and will be considered knowledgeable on matters related to program management. This role will be based at the JCI engineering and manufacturing site in Dublin, Ireland.\nHow you will do it\nLead cross-functional and regionally distributed teams through JCI’s stage-gate development process.\nInitiate, plan, and execute programs to deliver benefits according to established targets for budget, quality, performance, and time to market.\nLead teams through scope discovery and decomposition to develop detailed execution and resource plans.\nManage and optimize the collaboration of core, extended and support team members, contractors, or consultants to ensure programs are delivered as planned.\nCoach, mentor, and motivate project team members to take positive action and accountability for assigned work.\nCreate and deliver progress reports, presentations and project status updates via project scoreboards/dashboards, management reviews, and project team meetings.\nProactively identify and resolve significant risks and issues within the project team.\nIdentify and manage project dependencies and critical path(s).\nCollaborate with other program managers, functional managers, and executive leadership to accomplish program objectives.\nLeverage best practices to improve project execution and management.\nundefined\nWhat we look for\nRequired\nBachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or related field with 3 years of experience in project management and/or leading technical teams/projects in a functional management role\nExperience creating and managing a schedule, assigning project tasks, facilitating project meetings and formulating resource plans.\nExperience overseeing onsite and online/remote project teams across different functions.\nPractical experience with project management planning tools (such as Microsoft Project) and the Microsoft O365 software suite.\nAbility to travel (10% or less) within Europe or internationally to interact with team members, stakeholders, or remote staff and management.\nFamiliarity with stage-gate development\nPreferred\nOne or more years of direct experience leading projects through stage-gate product development\nKnowledge of or direct experience within the HVAC industry\nExperience using collaboration platforms (e.g. Microsoft Teams) and work management platforms (e.g. Daptiv, Planview, Smartsheet,
