The role will focus on project planning, coordination, schedule management, commercial follow-up, and driving projects through defined toll gates from HOTO to closure.\nThe incumbent will work closely with customers, vendors, site teams, and internal stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Execution & Coordination\nManage HVAC/chiller old, ongoing and new projects at different stages of execution.\n\nEnsure projects are executed as per approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.\n\nCoordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, factories, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.\n\nTrack project milestones and drive closure of pending activities.\n\nSchedule Management\nPrepare and maintain project schedules in coordination with customers and internal stakeholders.\n\nObtain customer approval for schedule baselines during HOTO.\n\nMonitor progress against planned schedules and initiate corrective actions for delays.\n\nDrive timely completion of project milestones and support toll gate movement.\n\nCommercial & Financial Management\nMonitor project costs, committed costs, and revenue realization.\n\nSupport achievement of forecasted revenue for assigned projects.\n\nEnsure timely preparation and submission of invoices as per contractual milestones.\n\nFollow up with customers for payment collections and resolution of commercial issues.\n\nMaintain Unbilled Revenue (UBR) within prescribed limits.\n\nRisk & Issue Management\nIdentify project risks and implementation challenges at an early stage.\n\nMaintain project risk and issue logs.\n\nEscalate critical risks, delays, and customer concerns to the Senior Project Manager in a timely manner.\n\nWork with stakeholders to implement mitigation and recovery plans.\n\nCustomer Management\nAct as the primary point of contact for assigned projects.\n\nMaintain regular communication with customers regarding project status, schedules, deliveries, and outstanding actions.\n\nAddress customer concerns promptly and coordinate internal support for resolution.\n\nEnsure customer expectations are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nMaterial & Resource Coordination\nCoordinate with procurement, logistics, factory, and service teams to ensure timely deliveries.\n\nTrack material availability and installation readiness.\n\nMonitor resource deployment requirements at project sites.\n\nReporting & Governance\nUpdate project status, forecasts, and financial metrics regularly.\n\nParticipate in project review meetings and provide accurate project performance updates.\n\nEnsure compliance with organizational project management processes and documentation requirements.\n\nSupport movement of projects through defined stage gates and successful project closure.\n\nDesired Skills & Competencies\nGood understanding of HVAC systems, chillers, and applied projects.\n\nKnowledge of project management fundamentals including:\nPlanning and Scheduling\n\nCost Monitoring\n\nRisk Management\n\nQuality Compliance\n\nCustomer Management\n\nStrong coordination and stakeholder management skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\n\nGood communication and negotiation skills.\n\nProficiency in MS Project, Excel, ERP, and project tracking tools.\n\nStrong problem-solving and follow-up skills.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.\n\nPMP/Project Management certification would be an added advantage.\n\nKey Performance Indicators
