This role supports day-to-day purchasing activities and helps ensure that the right goods and services are delivered on time and in line with established requirements.\nWhat you will do\nAssist more senior buyers with purchasing goods, materials, suppliers, and services in line with quality, availability, and price requirements.\nPlace orders and follow up on open purchase orders to help ensure timely delivery.\nWork with suppliers to expedite orders and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing.\nTrack at-risk items and support shortage prevention using weekly shortage reports and follow-up actions.\nCoordinate with planning, logistics, quality, and engineering teams to support supply continuity and resolve priority issues.\nSupport the process from purchase requisition to purchase order and help monitor purchasing results against goals.\nReview supplier status and delivery performance, including on-time delivery levels and recovery actions when needed.\nHelp maintain accurate purchasing information and support inventory-related follow-up as required.\nHow you will do it\nYou will stay close to the workby tracking open orders, supplier commitments, and shortage risks with urgency and accuracy.\nYou will communicate clearly and follow through quicklyso suppliers and internal teams know what is needed and when it is needed.\nYou will work across planning, logistics, quality, and engineeringto remove obstacles and keep materials flowing to production.\nYou will use facts and data to solve problems, including order status, delivery performance, and shortage reporting.\nYou will look for ways to improve lead times and prevent disruptionsthrough consistent follow-up and practical problem-solving.\nWhat are we looking for?\nUniversity degree with a minimum of 1 year of suggested experience, or a 2-year degree with 6 years of suggested experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nGood communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.\nNice to Have\nExperience supporting purchasing, expediting, or inventory control activities in a manufacturing or plant environment.\nFamiliarity with purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and shortage follow-up processes.\nExperience reviewing supplier delivery performance or supporting recovery plans.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and
