We pride ourselves on innovation, quality, and delivering tailored solutions to meet our clients' unique needs.\nOverview\nThe Quality Control Inspector is responsible for direct examination of product to ensure that quality standards and procedures are met and align with legislation and customer specifications. Requiring a high level of attention to detail, the Quality Control Inspector is responsible for strictly adhering to the organization’s quality assurance procedures and policies and identifying defects and/or production errors to prevent these materials from entering the supply chain. The QC document Control Clerk is responsible for control of documentation, OPL creation, etc.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nCreate and maintain QA/QC control documentation \nDocument Control - organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos provided by inspectors \nDaily inspection of in process units: ensure sealing is completed, no missing parts, and all other in process inspections are of high quality \nEnsure productions are inspected as determined by company requirements, checking of paperwork \nDaily inspection of paperwork for all in process units and report any deficiencies to Quality Supervisor \n Complete sub assembly inspections such as: motors, coil, evap., furnace, and paint \nComplete unit final inspections \nReview inspection documents and make unit packages \nReport any observed safety issues to the Safety Coach or Safety Coordinator \nAssist with education of other inspectors and production team members \nInspect drawings and marking/breaking work and ensure it is correct \nAssist marking with Engineering changes where drawings are not correct and submit to Quality Supervisor \nInspect all aspect of units with the appropriate forms from the beginning to the end and record all discrepancies \nOrganize all inspection documentation papers and online photos \nPerforms all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code \nOther duties as required \nKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities\nAbility to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner. \nEffective communication skills. \nTime management skills. \nCritical eye for identifying defects. \nKnowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and the tools required in various assembly processes. \nAbility to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule. \nKnowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures. \nMust be able to carry and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 40 pounds. \nMust be able to read a tape measure and perform simple mathematical fractional equations. \nAbility to read blueprints is considered an asset. \nWorking Conditions\nCommercial/Industrial environment \nExercise caution, as the environment presents many naturally occurring hazards \nAlways adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment) \nLong periods of standing \nOvertime as required \nContacts\nCommunication is primarily internal to the assigned work team and Team Lead/Supervisor/Senior Production Manager. \nJohnson Controls’ Canadian subsidiaries are committed to providing reasonable accommodation to applicants, candidates and employees with disabilities, in accordance with applicable human rights legislation, and in Ontario, in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (“AODA”).
