Backed by advanced technology, lifecycle services and an industry-leading field organization, we elevate customer performance, turn goals into real-world results and help move society forward.\nJob Description\nWhat you will do:\nThis position plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials and products by performing the following duties\nHow you will do it: \nPlans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, tests, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component.\nPerforms quality-engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with requirements, including quality manuals and company quality records.\nApplies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.\nReviews all purchased products or components and provides recommendations to the decision of whether to accept the product and future purchases from the vendor.\nDevelops innovative approaches to tackle problems identified during quality assurance activities\nCommunicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.\nPrepares and presents technical and program information to team members and management.\nDevelops new product quality plans as part of participation on cross-functional product development teams.\nOther duties may be assigned\n\nWhat we look for:\nBachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combined education and experience.\nA minimum of three years related experience.\nProficiency in a Windows operating environment, including email and Microsoft Office software.\nDemonstrated planning, problem solving, data analysis, GD&T, blueprint reading, organizing, inter-personal, and communication skills with proven leadership skills and decision-making abilities\n Strong knowledge of manufacturing procedures, production methods (including machining and welding), shop standards, team building, SPC and modern quality assurance applications.\nSALARY RANGE: $76,100 - $114,100 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
