The position applies sound problem-solving skills and independent judgment to identify, report, and resolve product issues, support and guide inspectors, and maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment while collaborating closely with supervision as needed.\nHow you will do it\nTest and inspect products at various stages of production process and compile statistical data.\nUse gauges and other devices to verify conformity to standards of product.\nExercise some independent judgment in resolving product issues and also ask for support in resolving issues.\nHigh competency level of all product lines and product testing procedures.\nProvide leadership and problem-solving assistance to inspectors.\nAccept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to responsibilities.\nDetect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.\nMaintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.\nOther duties as required.\nWhat we look for\nHigh school diploma/GED required, and two years inspection/production experience preferred\nAbility to organize work and meet deadlines.
