The role requires technical aptitude, customer focus, and the ability to work safely and independently in varied retail environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nInstall, service, troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on retail products and equipment at customer sites.\nTrack service calls in a computer system, including accounts serviced, work performed, hours, and administrative time.\nMaintain an accurate parts inventory to support a strong first-time-fix rate.\nDemonstrate and train customers on the proper use of their equipment.\nSupport service work on Video products, EAS equipment, and RFID equipment.\nKeep your manager informed about customer satisfaction, recurring issues, and potential sales opportunities.\nComplete additional tasks as needed to support the team and customer needs.\nHow You Will Do It\nOwn each service visit with accountability, safety, and integrityfrom arrival through completion.\nStay close to the customer’s needsby listening carefully, working efficiently on site, and removing obstacles that affect equipment performance.\nDocument work clearly and on timeso service calls, parts usage, and follow-up actions are easy to track.\nUse a problem-solving mindsetto identify recurring issues, improve first-time-fix results, and escalate concerns early when needed.\nWork as one teamby sharing updates with your manager, supporting customer communication, and collaborating across the service process.\nKeep learning and improving every dayas you build your technical knowledge across video, EAS, and RFID equipment.\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nAssociate degree in Electronics and/or Networking, or technical military equivalent.\nValid driver's license.\nGeneral knowledge of electronics.\nState licensing as required, depending on the state.\nMechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and power tools.\nAbility to perform physical labor and lift or move equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.\nAbility to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, including ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment up to 40 feet, ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.\nStrong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nFunctional and practical MS Office and PC skills.\nConfident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities.\nAbility to travel and work overtime as needed.\nAbility to complete Basic EAS/Video new hire classroom certifications.\nAbility to complete RFID Basic Certification.\nNice to Have\nExperience with Inventory Control equipment, Video products, EAS equipment, or RFID equipment.\nAbility to review plans, diagrams, and flow charts to support project execution.\nStrong troubleshooting skills for more complex service issues.\nExperience working directly with retail customers in a field service environment.\nWhy Join Us\nThis role gives you the chance to build practical technical experience, work directly with customers, and grow your skills across key retail technology systems.
