In this role, you will help deliver projects from start-up through commissioning and final acceptance while supporting contract requirements, project profitability, and strong customer relationships.\nYou will be responsible for the successful lifecycle of installation and service projects within our Government Technologies business. This includes coordinating field execution, managing project schedules, supporting billing and close-out activities, and working closely with customers, subcontractors, branch offices, and internal teams to keep work moving smoothly and in line with contractual obligations.\nHow you will do it\nProvide daily functional management for assigned installation and service projects.\nMonitor SLA schedules and coordinate technical work from start-up through check-out, commissioning, and final project acceptance.\nReview contracts and schedule requirements to support procurement, delivery of materials, field office involvement, and subcontractor coordination.\nDirect employees and subcontractors on assigned projects and manage day-to-day execution.\nMaintain project records, changes, material flow, reports, correspondences, claims, punch list records, audits, schedules, and close-out analyses.\nBuild effective communication between customers, engineering, technical support, and on-site construction trades.\nSupport sales representatives with proposal and contract preparation for large systems.\nShare technical feedback with Technical Services and Engineering Management to support productivity and quality improvements.\nEnsure billing for installation jobs and monthly services is accurate and delivered on time within the SLA.\nProvide weekly status reports to customers on all open projects.\nOwn project execution with accountability, keeping safety, quality, schedule, and profitability aligned every day.\nStay close to the work by coordinating field activity from planning and procurement through commissioning and close-out.\nRemove obstacles quickly by keeping materials, subcontractors, and internal support teams aligned to contract and SLA needs.\nCommunicate clearly and candidly with customers, branch offices, engineering, and technical teams so issues are identified early and resolved fast.\nUse disciplined reporting, recordkeeping, and follow-through to maintain control of changes, billing, and project status.\nWork collaboratively across functions and perspectives to deliver a clean handoff and a strong customer experience.\nWhat we look for\nRequired\nThree (3) to five (5) years of project management experience preferably in the Physical Security field (preferred).\nThree (3) to five (5) years of construction, electrical, electronic security, or systems integration experience (preferred).\nKnowledge of access control systems, CCTV both analog and IP-based, intercom systems, and intrusion detection systems (preferred).\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with demonstrated judgment skills\nExcellent customer service skills both internal and external)\nAbility to organize and prioritize workload and resources for effective implementation\nMust be a self-motivated and organized individual\nExcellent PC skills (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation)\nDemonstrated problem-solving and ability to independently carry out responsibilities under general supervision\nAbility to effectively interact with all levels of the Johnson Controls and customer organization\nAbility to function as an effective team leader and team member\nMaintain a positive working environment\nBachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a related field; i.e., Electrical Engineering, Security Management, Building Construction, and or Mechanical engineering (preferred) or related experience\nMust be able to obtain and maintain any of the following certifications PMP, CSPM, PSP, CPP within 6 months of hire\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $75,000- 1110,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
