Backed by advanced technology, lifecycle services and an industry-leading field organization, we elevate customer performance, turn goals into real-world results and help move society forward.\nWhat you will do\nUnder direct supervision, completes assigned programming, commissioning, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of fire / security systems per contract obligations.\n How you will do it\nAssists experienced personnel with solutions to systems problems, either troubleshooting the system or advising others on how to resolve problems. Requires understanding of core and third-party fire / security products, software and systems / electrical technology.\nAssists in performing required commissioning documentation. Provide accurate information for as-builts documentation.\nAdheres to safety standards and local and national codes, with a high degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.\nMaintains appropriate local and National Fire / Security Industry Certifications.\nCommunicates with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Continuous proactive customer interactions including an in-depth understanding of customer(s) needs wants and systems currently in place.\nAssists in monitoring project execution per plan. Reports problems or changes to supervisor or management.\nCompletes paperwork and on-site documentation as required.\nPerforms self-study (reading, research, and practice) to obtain technical proficiency on required products and application.\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nWhat we look for\nRequired:\nHigh school diploma plus 5+ years of experience in installing fire or security systems is required. Electronics certification from accredited technical school / military electronics training desired.\nDemonstrated effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts.\nBasic computer skills required.\nAttention to detail.\nAble to explain technical information to non-technical people\nValid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.\nPreferred:\nNICET Level I Certification\nPrior experience withing the Fire/ Security industry with basic knowledge and understanding of Fire/ Security systems, database structure, network configuration and analysis.\nHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $33.00-$51.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience,\nknowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market\ndata.)
