Backed by advanced technology, lifecycle services and an industry-leading field organization, we elevate customer performance, turn goals into real-world results and help move society forward.\nWhat you will do\nAs a critical part of the team, the Commercial Installer works onsite with our commercial customers to set up and program their Integrated Security, Access Control CCTV, Fire Alarm and Security Systems. The Commercial Installer also dismantles and reconstructs equipment when necessary.\nHow you will do it\nInstalls appropriate devices; dismantles and reconstructs equipment as required by customer or Tyco Integrated Security.\nWorks safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris.\nAdheres to safety standards and local and national codes, with a high degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.\nMaintains appropriate local and National Fire / Security Industry Certifications.\nCommunicates with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Continuous proactive customer interactions including an in-depth understanding of customer(s) needs wants and systems currently in place.\nContacts customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule.\nPrepares estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions of supervisor.\nFollows proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.\nAssists in monitoring project execution per plan. Reports problems or changes to supervisor or management.\nTest’s operation of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.\nReads building, electrical and sprinkler blueprints as required.\nCoordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.\nCompletes paperwork and on-site documentation as required.\nPerforms self-study (reading, research, and practice) to obtain technical proficiency on required products and application.\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nMay manage installation teams on larger projects.\nCoach and mentor less experienced installers.\nTravel required, using provided company vehicle and equipment.\nRequired\nHome Office will be Westbrook, Maine\nMust have State of Maine Master Limited Energy License\nMust have a minimum of 5 Years Commercial Installation experience.\nElectrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.\nWill train apprentices as required.\nAbility to read blueprints and schematic drawings.\nAbility to operate hand and power tools.\nAbility to always operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner.\nAbility to communicate and provide excellent customer service.\nAdvanced computer skills required.\nNo fear of heights\nNo Color Blindness\nAbility to accurately read a tape measure.\nAbility to stand, kneel, drive for extended periods of time.\nTravel is required - MA, NH and Maine - some overnight and weekends may be required with notice\nAttention to detail.\nAble to explain technical information to non-technical people.\nValid Driver’s license with a clean record.\nA Background Check and Pre-Employment Drug Test is Required.\nPreferred\nNICET II Certification.\nAccess Control certifications.\nCCTV certifications.\nExperience bending conduit.\nMassachusetts Class D License\nHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $30-43 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
