This is a hands-on position that offers a mix of service, technical problem-solving, customer engagement, and project delivery.\nWorking alongside experienced technicians and industry experts, you'll play a key role in ensuring customers' critical security systems remain reliable, compliant, and operating at peak performance.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electronic security systems across customer sites.\n\nPerform preventative maintenance and scheduled system inspections.\n\nDeliver small to medium security system upgrades, modifications, and fit-out projects.\n\nCommission newly installed security systems and verify performance against design specifications.\n\nPrepare quotations and recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and system improvements.\n\nProvide expert technical advice and build strong relationships with customers.\n\nCollaborate with subcontractors, project teams, and service colleagues to ensure successful project delivery.\n\nMaintain accurate service documentation and reports.\n\nContribute to a strong safety culture by identifying and addressing hazards and ensuring compliance with company safety standards.\n\nAchieve and maintain full compliance with Johnson Controls' Safety, Health & Environment Management System (SHEMS).\n\nAbout You\nWe're interested in hearing from security professionals, electricians, HVAC technicians, communications technicians, fire technicians, and other technically skilled tradespeople with experience in building technologies and critical infrastructure environments.\nYou will ideally have:\nMinimum 2 years' experience in a Security Technician or similar field service role.\n\nTrade qualification in Security, Electrical, HVAC, Electronics, Communications, or a related discipline.\n\nCurrent NSW Security Licence.\n\nStrong experience in the maintenance, fault-finding, repair, and commissioning of security systems.\n\nAbility to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service documentation.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nCustomer-focused approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.\n\nAbility to work independently and manage priorities effectively.\n\nWillingness to travel within the region as required.\n\nHighly Regarded\nExperience with Gallagher Security Management Systems.\n\nExposure to Building Management Systems (BMS) or integrated building technologies.\n\nExperience working in healthcare, industrial, commercial, government, or critical infrastructure environments.\n\nWhy Join
