If you enjoy technically challenging project work, close collaboration with site teams and stakeholders, and the opportunity to build expertise in retrofit and chiller installation projects, this position is a strong fit.\nWhat you will do\nAs a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer, you will lead HVAC retrofit and installation projects for data center environments, with a particular focus on chillers. You will support projects from initiation through completion, ensuring technical quality, smooth coordination, and reliable execution on site.\nHow you will do it\nOversee HVAC retrofit and installation projects from initiation to completion.\nPlan, design, and implement HVAC systems for retrofit and installation activities.\nConduct detailed site surveys and inspections to assess project requirements.\nPrepare and review project submittals, including Method of Statements (MOS), risk assessments, and work schedules.\nCoordinate with consultants, contractors, clients, internal teams, and suppliers for approvals, clarifications, and execution support.\nProvide technical guidance to site teams and supervise installation activities.\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HVAC systems and equipment.\nEnsure HVAC installations comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.\nMonitor quality on site and implement corrective actions when needed.\nIdentify and procure the materials and equipment needed for project delivery.\nManage resources efficiently to support project progress and profitability.\nTrack delivery against schedule, budget, and quality expectations throughout the project lifecycle.\nWhat we look for\nRequired\nExtensive experience in HVAC projects and system installations, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and controls.\nProven ability to prepare detailed submittals, Method of Statements (MOS), and other project documentation.\nExperience managing site execution, coordinating stakeholders, and supporting project delivery from start to finish.\nExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nKnowledge of relevant standards, codes, and safety regulations.\nProfessional working proficiency in English.\nPreferred\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field\nExperience with data centers and energy efficiency upgrades.\nExperience in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) contracting\nKnowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.\nFamiliarity with project management tools and software.\nCertifications such as CMVP, LEED, or HVAC-specific credentials.\nWorking knowledge of Finnish language\nWhy Join Us\nThis is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful data center projects while deepening your expertise in retrofit HVAC and chiller installation work.
