You’ll collaborate across cross-functional teams to bring new ideas to life, solve complex engineering challenges and deliver high-quality solutions that make a real impact on our customers. Beyond product development, you will also support the manufacturing and sustaining of the product including initiating and executing design changes. All these tasks require strong communication skills and the ability to clearly present information to engineering teammates, engineering managers, and product management.\nHow you will do it\nMaintains understanding of theories, concepts, technical principles and processes related to fluid, thermal, and other mechanical aspects of Air-cooled chillers\nContributes to the on-time completion of programs and regular reports on the status of projects\nHas proficiency in mechanical design and be able to conceptualize and implement design ideas into the product\nWork closely with the design and manufacturing teams in generating layout concepts and system configurations that consider the best balance of cost, performance, and reliability\nCoordinate and help execute test programs to validate performance and reliability of mechanical systems and components\nAnalyzes, designs, modifies and/or troubleshoots mechanical sub-components and sub-systems based on test data\nGenerate and review technical documentation for use within the product team\nApplies mechanical codes such as UL, CE, PED and ASME\nOccasional domestic and international travel (less than 15%)\nWhat we look for\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent relevant technical experience. \n4+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role\nStrong understanding of fluid and thermal principles\nProficient with organizing and processing large amounts of data\nExperience with product development and sustaining configurable systems\nDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level technical problems. \nAbility to develop technical test plans and use engineering data to validate solutions and product changes. \nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $110,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
