Position Overview

Johnson Controls is seeking an experiencedSitecoreAI Content and Personalization Specialistto join our Global Marketing IT team.This role will be responsible for driving enterprise content operations, digital asset management, AI-powered content optimization, personalization, and experimentation across the global Sitecore ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Sitecore Content Hub, Sitecore AI, Sitecore XM Cloud, and Sitecore Personalize, with proven experience designing and executing content strategies that enable scalable omnichannel experiences. This individual will partner with business, marketing, analytics, and technology teams to ensure content is structured, governed, optimized, and activated effectively across customer journeys.

A key objective of this role is to leverage Sitecore AI and Content Hub capabilities to improve content discoverability, automate content operations, enhance personalization, accelerate content production, and drive measurable business outcomes through testing and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Sitecore AI Enablement

• Leverage Sitecore AI capabilities to improve content creation, optimization, classification, tagging, and asset enrichment.

• Define and implement AI-assisted content workflows that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.

• Utilize AI-driven insights to identify content gaps, optimization opportunities, and personalization strategies.

• Support AI-powered content recommendations and customer experience optimization initiatives.

• Collaborate with marketing teams tooperationalizeAI-enhanced content generation while ensuring governance and brand compliance.

• Evaluate and implement emerging Sitecore AI capabilities and best practices across the enterprise.

Sitecore Content Hub Leadership

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Sitecore Content Hub DAM, CMP, and Content Operations capabilities.

• Design and manage enterprise content taxonomies, metadata models, content schemas, and governance frameworks.

• Establish and maintain content lifecycle processes including creation, review, approval, publication, archival, and compliance.

• Drive adoption of Content Hub as the central source of truth for digital assets and marketing content.

• Configure and optimize Content Hub workflows, governance policies, permissions, and content approval processes.

• Lead metadata standardization, asset classification, tagging, and content discoverability initiatives.

• Support Content Hub integrations with XM Cloud, personalization platforms, analytics solutions, and downstream marketing channels.

• Drive content reuse and content modularization strategies to support omnichannel delivery and composable architecture.

Personalization & Customer Experience Optimization

• Design, implement, and optimize content experiences using Sitecore Personalize.

• Define personalization strategies based on audience segments, behavioral data, customer journeys, and engagement metrics.

• Partner with analytics teams to create audience targeting rules and content decisioning frameworks.

• Enable dynamic content delivery based on customer preferences, geography, product interests, lifecycle stage, and behavioral signals.

• Develop and maintain personalization governance and measurement frameworks.

• Monitor personalized experiences and continuously optimize outcomes based on data-driven insights.

A/B Testing & Experimentation

• Lead digital experimentation strategies across web experiences and customer journeys.

• Design and execute A/B tests, multivariate tests, content experiments, and personalization experiments using Sitecore capabilities.

• Define hypotheses, success metrics, statistical requirements, and reporting methodologies.

• Analyze experiment results and provide actionable recommendations to improve engagement, conversions, and customer experience.

• Establish best practices for testing, optimization, and experimentation governance.

• Collaborate with UX, Digital Marketing, Product, and Analytics teams to prioritize and executetesting roadmaps.

Content Strategy & Governance

• Define enterprise content architecture and reusable content models supporting XM Cloud and composable DXP initiatives.

• Establish best practices for content structure, SEO, accessibility, localization, and omnichannel publishing.

• Drive content quality assessment and optimization initiatives.

• Ensure alignment between content strategy, customer journeys, personalization objectives, and business goals.

• Maintain governance standards for metadata, taxonomy, tagging, content ownership, and lifecycle management.

Required Qualifications

Must-Have Experience

• 4 to 6 years of hands-on Sitecore experience.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Sitecore Content Hub (DAM/CMP) administration, implementation, or content operations.

• Strong experience with Sitecore AI capabilities and AI-driven content optimization.

• Hands-on experience with Sitecore Personalize.

• Demonstrated experience designing and executing A/B testing and experimentation programs.

• Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, audience segmentation, and content personalization.

• Experience creating and managing enterprise taxonomies, metadata structures, and content governance frameworks.

• Experience with content modeling and reusable content design in Sitecore XM Cloud.

• Deep understanding of composable architecture and omnichannel content delivery.

• Experience working closely with marketing, content authors, product teams, UX teams, and analytics teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Scienceor a related technical discipline

• Experience with Sitecore Search and content discovery capabilities.

• Experience with CDP, customer data platforms, and audience activation use cases.

• Experience implementing AI-assisted content operations and content supply chain initiatives.

• Knowledge of digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools.

• Familiarity with SEO, accessibility, localization, and global content management practices.
